WOYWW 193 - Tuesday evening photo...

... so it's a tad fuzzy - my wee camera doesn't do low light too well...

Hopefully, you can see my new goodies :) A friend took me to Peterborough shopping yesterday, and we spent ages in an all-time favourite shop, Paperchase ***sigh***

I've spread out the correspondence set so you can see the gorgeousness - 20 sheets of writing paper, 10 envelopes, and stickers!!!

I can't wait to write letters to all the lovely people who have sent me amazing snail mail over the past couple of weeks. (You can scroll down to the previous post and see some of the goodies, if you have time!)

Next to the writing set are two beautiful lined journals, which I'll be using in the next few weeks...

Lent starts today, and I am reading this - the new book from one of favourite authors:

I love his gentle wisdom, and I'm really looking forward to learning lots...

Short and sweet this week - and now I'm off to sneak a peek at all the other interesting desks on show over at Julia's Stamping Ground...

So, till next week xxxx

PS I meant to mention the 'new' item at the top of the pic - an empty Orla Kiely bottle, which was a gorgeous reed diffuser I got for xmas (didn't last long, but it's such a lovely bottle!), and its new life as a container for my found feathers :)

Your new papers are lovely. Good idea on the little bottle. I tried to display some fall feathers but. the cats seemed not to let them alone.
Enjoy a lovely week and Happy WOYWW.

Love the papers, wish we had a Paperchase nearer - the closest is 12 miles away - as I love to browse that shop. Thanks for sharing your desk.

Happy WOYWW. It is lucky that we don't have a Paperchase near us - I can literally spend hours in there (remember going to the one inside a department store in the Trafford Centre, and Rich thought that I had disappeared - I was still browsing!). Gorgeous paper. Ali x #12

Awesome desk and I love your new correspondence papers! I used to buy a lot of nice papers and envelopes but I hardly write notes anymore due everyone wanting to use the computer all the time! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #17

Are those poppies I can see there? They are such a good flower for stamping and colouring, being so dramatic. Those new papers look really gorgeous. Have lots of fun with them. xx Maggie

Sounds as though you had a wonderful outing. Hope your book is enjoyable. This is a new author to me.
