WOYWW 199 - What a week!

Not feeling the greatest - kids have been off with colds, snow has been battering the UK, and I move sooooo slowly in the cold - spent most days bundled up on the sofa reading*

So I haven't made much more progress on the wedding pics, but I have managed to make Dad a card for his birthday on Saturday.

So here's my desk as of late Tuesday afternoon

My trusty trimmer, the photosplits I showed last week - also useful for sticking card elements and two boxes of bits and bobs...

Here's a close up of Dad's card...

... I'm jut hoping everyone's fit and well for Easter weekend, so we can have a family get-together!

I'm also hoping Blogger will behave itself! I visited so few desks last week - I just couldn't get the links to open from the list, even when I visited on other days - but I was able to reply to those who left a comment on my post... Go figure!!

If anyone else had similar problems, I'd love to know if they found a solution...

So I'm away to Julia's Stamping Ground and the weekly desk hop, once again crossing every digit... maybe this week it will work... maybe this time...

* I'm really enjoying this book - I don't read many novels, but this has been made into a film and comes out in the UK in June - a period drama about artists? What's not to love??

Your Dad will love his card, how could he not, beautiful and made with love.
Not much snow here but it is bitterly cold when I take the dog out for her constitutional, I look like Nanook of The North, wrapped up to glory.
Have a great day.

We've woken up to bright sunshine this morning, first for ages and despite the cold, my god it makes a difference! Hope you get some too. I wasn't aware of any problems with Blogger or the link list last week..I just sailed on in blissful ignorance!

Wonderful card for your Dad! We have turned cold and snowy here in the hills of East Tennessee. Spring was pushed back for a little bit. Happy WOYWW!

Great 'Dad' card! Love your workspace - all those painty splashes!! I am right with you witht his bloomin' weather. I have usually started exercising and walking by now to get off my winter 'padding' but I really don't leave the house unless I have to - it's sooo cold!! And everyone has been non stop poorly (I have surprisingly been well since my first bout of the coughing bug in November). So I hope yours are all well and you have a lovely easter!! Cindy #91

Hope you all get well soon. I hate the snow so much I am jealous of all the ladies that have nice sunny green lawn! I will try to read that book once I'm done reading the current one that I'm on. Happy Woyww

G'day Claie
I'm new to WOYWW and late visiting...I'm finding it all very interesting visiting others work spaces. I do hope you are all feeling better and the snow lets up. I live in the hot humid northern part of Australia and can only dream of snow *sigh*. Loved your card for your dad.

Great desk this week Claire

Lovely card for your dad. Hope he has a lovely birthday.

It's great when you get lost in a good book isn't it.

I'm late this week and trying to catch up.

I'm way behind on my blog hopping and missed your Focus on Life post from last week, but wanted to stop by and take a peek. Beautiful card - your Dad is going to love it!

Here's hoping your entire family is healthy for Easter!
