WOYWW 200 - What's on my desk, you ask...

... answer, piles of STUFF!!

And, not a lot of working/creating!

Sadly, the family colds continued to spread - I spent Thursday and Friday in bed, the kids then got other colds/coughs/sore throats, even robust hubbie succumbed!!

So, we decided to postpone Dad's birthday/Easter get-together to this coming weekend - a sad, but sensible, decision :(

And, as I haven't been at my desk for several days, it's become a dumping ground, and my chair has become a favourite sleeping spot...

Actually, now I'm feeling almost myself, I'm itching to tidy and play with a couple of new things...

... paper flowers, buttons, clips, etc. to adorn scrapbook pages. I know what I want to do, now I just need to muster the energy, and wait for Molly to vacate my chair, to actually do it!

So, I'll spend some time visiting other, highly more active, desks over at Julia's Stamping Ground, and be suitably energized and inspired :)

Can you believe Julia and Co have racked up 200 WOYWW???
WOW, indeed!!!!

sorry to hear you have all been so under the weather, I hope you all keep improving day by day.
Your desk, it is kinda hard to see what is sharing the space but your cat was smart enough to know the chair was the best place
Enjoy your WOYWW sunny day today

Gah, two days in bed, you must have felt awful. Glad to read that you're on the mend..family colds and viruses are the worst.
mazing how fast our desks become dumping grounds when we have our attention diverted..no doubt you'll make short work of setting it straight. Enjoy some play time!

This winter has been so miserable hasn't it, and we didn't get a summer to store up good energy to fight off all these nasty winter bugs - I'm glad you're feeling better, I'd be itching to play with those gorgeous new flowers too. MMx #73

Trust Molly to find the best spot, don't they always? She looks gorgeous, by the way. I adore black cats most of all, though if I had my way, (and the room) I think I'd adopt every cat that hasn't got a home! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #52 xx

It doesn’t take them long to move in on your chair once you vacate it, does it Claire? I have one just like that but he prefers not to wait and tries to push me off if he wants on…….and there’s no arguing with our feline friends.

Sorry to hear you’ve all been ill. There’s a lot of it about and I succumbed to it myself over the weekend but at least you have some lovely new things to play with once your back and fighting fit.
Happy Crafting!

Hi Claire,

I love the raven cards. Love the jars of flowers and the little notion box is adorable!

I hope your family is doing better. I've been fighting allergies like crazy. I always look forward to spring but hate that I have to greet the season with a stuffy nose and puffy eyes!

Happy WOYWW

G'day Claire
Its only my second week doing WOYWW. I'm late as I have had two huge busy days and just had no time to get to the computer. As well as when Julia posts the WOYWW post I am at work and its already in the evening here on Wednesday by then LOL. Anyway I'm glad you and your family are feeling much better and I do hope you get to be creative again soon.
