WOYWW 220 - Missed last week, so lots to share...

Here's my desk Tuesday afternoon...

I decided to play on a canvas board, using my desk easel - lots of sticking and pasting, totally random elements...

Here's a close-up - I'm sure it's not finished yet, but I had a jolly hour or so playing :)
A definite travel theme is emerging...

And I'll leave you with a few pics of our weekend in Stratford, for friends' wedding. It was a wonderful two days, but it took me most of the following week to recover *sigh*

Our hotel in the heart of Stratford, we were in the Hamlet suite (it has an easy access, walk-in shower)
Heather and Duke, the bride and groom
Nick and I
The Garrick Inn
Carving on the church tower
Wonky buildings are everywhere

Barges on the River Avon
Shakespeare's birthplace
Anne Hathaway's cottage

I'm looking forward to catching up with all your desks over at Ms Dunnit's Stamping Ground :)

Have a great week!!

Happy WOYWW. Love your canvas - great idea, just to play about. I do that digitally, and then I can just not save it if I don't like it! Thanks for sharing the piccies of your trip to Stratford. I grew up near Chipping Norton and we visited Stratford quite often. Must take hubby there for his first visit - so much to see. Ali x #48

I love Stratford - it is ages ago, since my last visit there. Sigh...
Thank for visiting me. You are right, art has it´s own language, only people don´t.

Stratford is so lovely and such a romantic place for a wedding! We holidayed there back in May and I found it absolutely inspirational for projects. Did you see that little gift shop at one of the houses with locally made gifts - so beautiful! I love your canvas with a travel theme! Have a happy WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #35

That's what I love about Wednesdays as we don't just get a sneak at desk's around the world, but also the world in general. I love the beautiful photos you have shared of your weekend away and your journal page looks fabulous. I am a big fan of randomness. Have a great week. Danie #17

Looking good. I wonder how it will develop? And the photos are lovely. Lovely day for it, and with the British summers as unpredictable as they are, a stroke of luck there.

Happy (better late than never) WOYWW!

I really enjoyed seeing the photos of the wedding, the wonky house, the Avon river with its barges, and Shakespeare's birthplace. Even more fun than a desk this week. Happy slightly belated WOYWW from #10.
