Focus on Life - Week 37

This week's prompt In Motion had me in a real quandary...

With our very basic, 10-year-old, digital camera, every shot of something in motion was either a poor-quality, blurry mess, or it appeared perfectly still *sigh*

On a scoot into town midweek, I took this at the crossing...

... the lorry was blazing past, but it's hardly an inspiring image!

Then, last night, dear Molly-cat sat on my lap and preceded to clean herself thoroughly - that wee tongue was definitely in motion!!

She's a glossy black, but the flash did strange things with her fur :)

Till next week xx

This was a tough one, wasn't it! I had plans to capture a fountain in motion, but it was off due to the weather. :-(
Your kitty babe is beautiful; those tongues are a miracle of science!

Those wheels are definitely a good subject for this week. And who can resist any kitty? Not me!

Love your pics! You captured motion in two different ways, but capture you did!

I had the same problem! My taxi picture looks totally still, but they we're honking and flying by. Love the pic of your kitty ... no doubt that tongue was working!!

Aww, what a beautiful cat! I always have trouble when using the flash--so most of the time I don't bother with it.

It was tough getting a 'motion' picture for sure. I think both of yours are great - especially the kitty - beautiful indeed!! And busy in motion, too! ;-)

I don't know what a Lorry is, but I can almost hear the sounds it would make "zooming" past. And I love the cat pics. If you hadn't said anything I would have thought he was that color. Very cool looking to me....maybe he isn't as black as he looks....lol. Thanks for posting.

Oh, I love that kitty - you captured it beautifully! Yes, this week was a tad challenging for me, so I 'cheated' a bit and used an older picture :)
