WOYWW 172 - Drawing Course 2

Well, I did re-activate my enrolment on the OCA drawing course, and at the weekend received my updated course materials...

Oh my, it's no easier than last time!

Plus, I must complete the first 3 assignments before next August in order to get a 6-month extension to complete the rest of the course - eek!!

So my energies must be diverted towards this enterprise, so I won't be doing much else online for the foreseeable future, other than on my learning log (new button on the right) and on the student forums...

But I'm sure I'll stop by Julia's Stamping Ground some Wednesdays to get my wonderful desk fix :)

Wishing you all a wonderfully creative week xx

Hi Claire
The drawing course sounds like a great challenge - go for it girl! Now re your comment on my blog. It is black berry jelly (not currant).
To make it set I used some jam making sugar and some granulated but also chopped some baking apples up and boiled those seperately, mashed them and added them to the blackberry boiled mush before straining off all the juice. I think the apples helped it to set. It's still quite a soft jelly but perfect on toast/croissants! x Jo

I take my hat off to anyone who enrols on a course!! It takes more commitment and determination than I possess at the moment...sigh.
But stick with it, you'll get so much satisfaction for completing it!

Good Luck with your course ...I am sure you will do well. It will be nice if you join in here when ever you can ...even if there is nothing much to show except maybe what you are doing on your course ...and every one will forgive a lack of visits ....maybe just 10 of your favourites. xx#8

Congratulations on making the decision to pursue your studies - having just glanced at your drawings (came via your profile rather than direct from WOYWW, and wasn't sure which blog to go to!) I think it's absolutely the right decision... they're wonderful. No doubt it will be pressurised at times, but so worth pursuing; I wish you lots of joy with it all! Thanks so much for dropping by at Words and Pictures, and happy WOYWW!

Take it one page at a time and don't give up. Just think of what you will have gained by the end. I would love to do a course but no time. Good on you for keeping it going and enjoy.
Have a great week.

Good luck with your course. I admire those who can draw! I on the other hand can barely cut a straight line even with a paper trimmer! LOL nan G 134

Hi Claire,

I am REALLY late getting around (from last week). The drawing class sounds great and fun. Don't stress about it and go with it!!!

Glad you'll be popping in on Wednesdays. You'll have to show us some of your drawings. I find it harder than it should be. Ah well.

Thanks for visiting me!!!

Hugs,
Kay

I'm finally getting around from last week's WOYWW. Great job on jumping back into the art course. If you have until next August to complete the first 3 assignments does that mean they are terribly complex or does that mean you know you procrastinate or are busy? I'm a big procrastinator myself but I suspect I could complete 3 assignments in the next 11 months.... this from the gal who has only read 1 of the 5 chapters due on Saturday. Er.. um... yeah. Happy drawing!

Hi Claire, good luck with your drawing course, sounds like a big challenge which needs to be break down in little steps. I think blogging about it helps to stay tuned and get some encouragement along the way!
Thank you for your nice comment on my blog last week and happy WOYWW!
