WOYWW 177 - A big fat messy mess mess....

(Can you believe this is taken with a flash at 11am??? October in England, heh?? *sigh*)

Well, not much drawing going on, is there?? Maybe it's all aversion tactics, but a dear friend helped me sort out piles of books and art supplies the other day, but we ran out of steam before we tackled the desk... But, at least now I can reach the desk!!

This is clearly my task for today... *heavy sigh*

But, there are highlights, such as these colourful ribbons dear Debbie sent me, after I admired the gorgeous creations in her etsy shop.

She even included a pretty wired bead, so I could make a necklace

What a sweetie :)

And other highlights?

The sky the other evening...

And this bush in our back garden...

And, of course, globe-trotting to meet all the other lovely WOYWWers over at Julia's Stamping Ground :)

The skies may be dank and grey, but there's colour in my heart!!

Have a happy Wednesday xxxx

What an array of glorious colours - from the delicious ribbons (I've been creating far more pastel affairs), to the sky, to the leaves - just gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing them on this grim, grey day...

Your desk looks like mine does normally. I just move bits around or put them on the floor to work :)
Sorry about the yukky weather, it's blowing a gale here in Aus, if that makes you feel any better, it is 28 deg though.
Lovely photos.
Have a great week.

I would agree with all that! Yes, October mornings in England are dull, dank and dreary but look at what we get as a bonus. Amazing sunsets, trees and shrubs painting themselves a riot of colour, showing off for the arrival of the Holly King at winter... I will ALWAYS love an English October, no matter where in the world I may be!

Thanks for stopping by....!!

Two lovely outdoor photos - thanks. I love autumn and its colours.
Love the honesty around your desk, I spent yesterday clearing my summer stuff from my wardrobe and fill it with the winter things. Now got piles of clothes to work through just like your papers and books on your desk.
Thanks for visiting me last week when I was AWOL - Hugs, Neet 23 xx
