I decided to re-use (I'm not going to call it 'cheating' this time!) a drawing I did back in February...
My clever, clever plan was to paint it different strengths/shades of tea...
Clearly, I've never used tea before - not even to do those often-convincing 'aged' pages - so I had no idea how incredibly pale even the strongest looking cold tea appears on the page... *sigh*
But not to be deterred, I decided to do a two-page spread - paint the drawing with watercolours, and tea-stain a second page and stamp an appropriate message...
And voila!
What do you think??
You can see I need some more practice with stamps... applying the pressure left-handed is still a challenge...
And the label is from the yogi tea I had at breakfast, and reads 'See the soul and divinity in everybody'...
So, tea does make everything better :)

I love this! It's homey and warm...just like a cuppa tea should be. A wonderful journal spread!
I like this, would look great framed! Tea does make things better...
Wonderful piece Claire :)
Oh I love this. The colors are so fun and cheerful. Nicely done.
I'm so impressed with your left handed art and stamping. It amazes me how well you have made the transition. My stamping looks like that and I don't have a "hand-icap." Love this tea inspired piece.
Lovely page, and couldn't agree more ... Love the colours you have so cleverly combined.

Very lovely artwork and I love the words! I adore tea staining, have never tried it with watercolours before but it works really well here!
Beautiful job...
It has a wonderful harmoniousness to it. And I like the "borders" around the letters. You "meant" to do that, right? 80)
Hi claire - it would make a great "get well card"! Tea is one of the anwers to the universe!
I love your take on "re-use" and your tea submission is great. Very nice!
I LOVE this ... well done & I especially love the little secondary message xo les Gang
