WOYWW No. 165

Another Tuesday evening photo - not a lot happening yet... all set up for the morning, as I have to watch Team GB's women's football team take on Brazil at Wembley :)

I'm hoping to draw every day in the month of August... we'll see how far I manage to get... I'll certainly post each drawing :)

I'm going to draw from my Downton Abbey book - so many glorious photos - my first assignment is for this week's IA Challenge - Perfectly Pink! - which is a real challenge for me, as it's a colour I really do not like much :(

I'm planning to tackle this fuchsia coat illustration... though I really like the dress and hat ensemble next to it :)

I'm looking forward to globe-trotting around as many desks as possible this coming week, as I've missed a couple of WOYWWs... As usual, it's happening over at Julia's Stamping Ground...

Wishing you all a fun, creative week!!

PS The women's football team beat Brazil and topped their group - they're through to the quarter finals!! Now we need the men to do the same! I'm loving these Games :)

I so love the games too. I am absorbed in the beach volleyball and the gymnastics are fascinating, love the equestrian didn't the British do well silver for them. We all like different things hubby is into the weightlifting and son likes the rifle and skeet shooting. Daughter likes the diving. Its a fun time for us. Sandy :) #43

I am So Excited with the Olympics! Today has been a great day for us Brits! It's all so exciting isn't it.

I love the picture a day idea, and the Downton Abbey book is a great place to start. The pink dress idea is great - pink can be toned down a lot by accompanying it with other, more manly colours like black, grey or brown, and can look really classy! I'll be very interested to see what you come up with.

Happy WOYWW,

I am enjoying the games here and there. Mostly swimming and gymnastics. Looks like a fun piece to draw. Although I am drawn to the dress and hat combo as well.

cool idea to draw from the book! Looks like you have made a fabulous start too

I'm thinking no need to watch the Olympics, everyone whose desk I visit will keep me breast of the happenings. I'm with you, the hat and dress combo is more exciting than the fuchsia outfit you are planning to do. Maybe for tomorrow's drawing then...

I think you should draw the dress and hat ensemble and color them fuschia! You've set yourself a good challenge. I'm kind of petering out on the drawing right now. The approach of school is stifling my creative spirit, I think...
Anyway, have a great week! I'm not officially signed up for WOYWW. Just visiting a few desks on my blog list. :)
