This week's prompt was fun (of course!): 'This week focus on the positive and Give Us a Smile!' says Sally, so I give you two photos...
One of this week's exercises in the Journal Your Life I'm dong was writing down what makes us happy - do feel free to enlarge and read. How many of these make you smile?
And for you to see my grin, here I am with my friend Tina taken last year by Andrea at a girlie lunch...
Me, Tina (been friends since Brownies!)

How nice to have a friend of such long standing. You both have beautiful smiles.
That's a beautiful list you have there, Claire. And the idea of putting down on paper what makes one happy is very special: when you feel down you only have to open the journal and your spirits will be lifted up.
The picture of the two of you is gorgeous - isn't it special to have such a long lasting relationship?! If I stop and pause one of my best friends is from kindergarten... and although we haven't seen each other in about 20 years, we still keep in touch and we talk like we are in the same room :)
Great way of reflecting the prompt! I'm feeling happier already!
Beautiful smiles from beautiful friendships.
Oh now that is a wonderful exercise! "Good coffee" would have to appear way closer to the top of the page for me lol. That's a great shot of you and Tina. I'm lucky enough to live a few streets away from my bestie since 6, it's a wonderful thing! Your post sure made me smile, thanks Claire
It's amazing what we kind find we're happy about when we make a list right? Great pic!
That list of what makes you happy looks like a great remedy for those days when nothing seems to go properly. Looks like Tina belongs on the list too - what a great photo!
Claire you have a wonderful smile. Thanx for showing your journal entry.
Your list made me smile - and think and be thankful!! (thank you for that!) I love the photo of you and your friends. Friends like that are the best kind!
Love your journal assignmen.
How wonderful to have a freind for so long, especially in today's world where everyone is always busy.
Two lovely ladies with great smiles! Your list is a great journalling idea as well.
Lovely smiles. You both look great! I look like an idiot when I try to smile. My housband says I look like the one chewing on the sour cherry! SO I avoid cameras!
What a great exercise writing down what makes you happy. It put a smile on my face.
Great smiles from both of you!
It's always nice to count one's blessings and find similar things make us all happy.
