I've only been a part of WOYWW for a few weeks, but apparently 'The Gang' have been meeting for 3 years, and today's the third anniversary!!
So, I really wanted to join in today - despite feeling still yucky *sigh*
My desk hasn't been touched since Sunday, when I was feeling a bit brighter, and made this journal page...
I'd been sitting and dozing and listening to the birdsong through the open window... we're enjoying/enduring a mini heatwave in the UK at the moment.... and all i could think was how these tiny creatures can make such big, sweet songs...
As you can guess, my supply of readymade words didn't contain all I needed :)

I found this one inside a notebook a few weeks ago... I used to make and swap a lot of ATCs before the stroke - this one's dated 2006 - but I cannot work this small anymore...
But I wanted to join in the celebration of WOYWW third anniversary swap, so this lil creation will be travelling somewhere new...
And thank you for all the comments last week - I so enjoy reading them! - and big apologies for not getting round you all... surely, I must feel better this week...

Hi Claire, OK, you trying to confuse me here with your comment on my blog?
What made you think I was going to send an ATC to Kyla? The way it works, I hope, is that Kyla is sending an ATC to me and I send one to Stamping for Pleasure. Kyla is the asterisk immediately before me and Stamping for Pleasure is the asterisk Immediately after me (really funny as she's a pal and we're swopping anyhow).
So how did you pick that up wrongly? My first entry didn't have an asterisk so that one gets ignored. You standing in for Julia this week? :)
Have a great WOYWW - and let me know if I've totally lost the plot, but am sure I still have enough marbles to have worked out fine what to do. Snort, or maybe not......I first added this comment to your WOYWW post for LAST week! I blame the sunshine!

Hi Claire - I have recently noticed people making really thick and chunky ATCs on blocks of wood. Maybe you could try one of those. Sorry you are yukky too, I am much better now, so hope you get better quickly. Love your journal page and the ATC is gorgeous, someone will be lucky to get that. Shame you can't work small anymore.

Seems the WOYWWers are sharing bugs as well as ATCs this week. hope mine doesn't last as long as yours - just started with it this morning. Love your ATC. I used to make loads but went off them - now I'm back on them, life is truly a rollercoaster.
Just popped yours in an envelope and it will be on it's way tomorrow.

Sorry you don't feel well. May you have healthy days soon. At least the sun is shining. I live in the southern US and it has been HOT already! Today is a nice one at 84 degrees!
Love the journal page and the strips of song traveling from the bird across your pages. Sweet ATC too. You do such good work!
Like you, Claire, I enjoy listening to the birdsong - my hubby has fixed the feeders outside the patio doors where I can watch their antics too. we've got a gorgeous blackbird in the garden who sings his little heart out - a wonderful, liquid, musical song! Love your journal page with the birdsong music on it!
Sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. I've not been too well recently either - the heat does me absolutely no favours. I am very behind with everything and sadly have not managed to get involved with the ATC swap but send good wishes to all who are involved!

Your desk if filled with inspiring things! Your journal page and ATC are so creative! Nothing is more relaxing than listening to the birds sing. I finally got outside to help in the garden today after work. It seems I take the wonderful weather for granted and don't get out there as much as I should. Hope you're feeling better soon!
